Nigeria’s
national flag is composed of three vertical bands of two different colours. The
bands on the hoist side and right side of the flag are green in colour. While
the central stripe is white in colour, representing unity and peace. The two
green bands are symbolistic of the nation’s natural wealth. The national flag
of Nigeria was adopted on the 1st of October 1960 and was designed
by Michael Taiwo Akinkunmi.

capital city of the nation is Abuja. Nigeria is home to Nollywood, one of the
largest film industries in the world, alongside Bollywood and Hollywood. The
nation is also one of the largest oil and gas producers in the world and
largest in Africa
